The Journey

Four countries shaped my life. Many more shaped my perspective.

The personal story begins with Senegal, Tunisia, France and the United States. The professional story continues across the markets, cultures and relationships that followed.

01

Senegal

Character

I grew up in Senegal with something more valuable than convenience: community. It taught me hospitality, acceptance, humility and respect. It is where I first learned that how you treat people matters.

02

Tunisia

Independence

I left Senegal for Tunisia to earn my bachelor’s degree in business management and sales. Three years away from home taught me to stand on my own, adapt to a new environment and see the world beyond where I began.

03

France

Resilience

A Senegalese government scholarship took me to France. Money was tight. I worked early-morning shifts before university, sometimes leaving home around 3 a.m. to reach the Champs-Élysées. France taught me discipline and resilience.

04

United States

Purpose

Starting over again was not easy. A warehouse job, a snowstorm and one high-stakes interview opened the door to EB-5. More than a decade later, the work has become a place where relationships, immigration and family opportunity intersect.

What the journey changed

Adaptation became part of how I work.

Cross-cultural work is not theory when you have had to adapt yourself. Moving across countries taught me to listen first, understand context and never assume that one family’s priorities will look like another’s.

That perspective now shapes the way I approach investor relationships, professional partnerships and global mobility conversations.
